Background

The office in Cookson Street was officially opened on Friday, 4th June 2004. Before then we had been located at the Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Council for Voluntary Services office in Abingdon Street.  We have recently moved again and we are now located at North Lodge, West Park Drive, Blackpool.

The Volunteering Centre was a project of the CVS until 1st April 2006 and has now become an independent body, registered as a limited company and in the process of becoming a registered charity.
