BACKGROUND
Volunteer Centre Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde has been in existence since April 2006. Prior to this the Volunteer Centre had been a project of Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) for ten years.
In April 2006 the Volunteer Centre formed as a Company Limited by Guarantee and became independent of the CVS. The organisation became a Registered Charity in 2008.
